FNJ central office unlocked
KATHMANDU - The central office of the Federation of Nepali Journalists has been unlocked on Monday after 11 days with the three-point agreement reached between Revolutionary Journalists' Federation and FNJ.
Chairperson of Revolutionary Journalists' Federation, Indra Raut, said that the office was unlocked after both the sides agreed to address the demands put forth by revolutionary journalists.
The revolutionary journalists had padlocked the FNJ central office on March 9, saying FNJ distributed membership to non-journalists, distributed fake membership, transferred membership against FNJ statute.
President Dr Mahendra Bista, vice-president Khil Bahadur Bhandari, general secretary Ujir Magar, secretary Dhruba Lamsal, among others from FNJ and vice-chairperson Narayan Pangeni, general secretary Kesharmani Katuwal and advisor from Revolutionary Journalists' Federation were present in the meeting.
